CDL/DOT Physical Exam
Commercial Driver License (CDL) holders are required to pass a CDL/DOT physical by a medical examiner in the state of Maryland. At Pain and Rehab Center, Dr. Gela is a certified medical examiner; National Registry # 9380714400.
These exams determine whether candidates are medically qualified to drive commercial motor vehicles. The thorough physicals are intended to ensure both the driver’s safety and that of other drivers on the road.
At Pain and Rehab Center, we review the candidate’s health history and perform a thorough physical exam, including a vision test, hearing test, urinalysis, and exam interpretation. Upon passing the physical exam, we’ll complete any required paperwork. The candidate will then receive their certificate.
